Grading: Grading shall be based on an open book 48 hour
take-home examination, or alternatively the writing of a paper of 15-20 pages.
The paper can be on the topics discussed in class or from some other legal
issue related to Information Technology Law or Intellectual Property Law and
should address the issue from a comparative law perspective. We will discuss
this requirement in more depth during class 4. You must submit an abstract
describing your paper topic by February 5. You must submit an advanced draft
paper by March 5. You must submit the final paper by April 5. Class
participation will be taken into consideration to adjust grading.
